Maintenance Technician

JOB ROLE

To carry out works required to repair, maintain and improve the facilities, furnishings and equipment and maintaining them at a high degree of efficiency and reliability. Also, to ensure day to day operations runs smoothly and efficiently and able to meet customer expectation and needs by building and maintaining good relationship.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Handling all aspects of repairs such as plumbing, electrical, painting, steel wielding and other maintenance works.

To strictly adhere to safety procedures set by your superior at all times when carrying out duties.

To ensure that maintenance work is carried out safely, efficiently and with minimum disruption to guests and members of the public. Preparation of reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information gathered from reliable sources for Production and QA Manager.

Ensure equipment and KCK manufacturing facilities are maintained to prevent hazards.

JOB DUTIES

To attend daily briefing in order to get full information regarding all activities, functions, repairs or maintenance work.

To check and test daily in the morning on all equipment in used to make sure that they are in good operational.

To check all panel switch board daily and any irregularity must be report immediately.

To follow strictly on safety procedures set by your superior at all times when carry out your duties.

To record and report any repair or replacement on equipment, electrical items to your superior.

To make sure all tool and equipment used are returned back in good condition to the storeroom at the end of the day.

All M & E tools and equipment which is belonging to the company are not allowed to be brought out of the company at anytime without authorization from the Production and QA Manager

Make sure all facilities are in good conditions, all stairs, grating of drains and steel bars are in good condition and not rusted .Repaint the floor, wall or bars when necessary.

Check the bridges daily for any wear and fear parts or damages.

10.Making sure all stocks are adequate and properly recorded. Assist in doing ordering when needed.

• Maintain a high compliance of brand standard operating procedures.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Minimum Diploma / Degree / relevant certificate holder

Problem-solving skills in maintenance requests

Ability to work with a minimum of supervision

Willing to work on weekends

Good attitude and interpersonal skills

Pay : RM1, RM2,500.00 per month
