Junior Linux / Middleware QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases and scenarios validating middleware applications and environments on Kafka, WebLogic, MQ, and JBoss running on Linux (RHEL).
• Validate configurations, deployments, cluster setups, and middleware functionalities to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Identify, document, and report defects or issues found during manual testing.
• Collaborate with build engineers, middleware administrators, and developers to understand middleware environment setup and workflows.
• Support testing across middleware platforms (Kafka, WebLogic) running in Unix / Linux environments.
• Verify and validate SQL queries and database transactions on Oracle and MySQL during middleware testing.
• Document test results, produce test reports, and maintain QA documentation.
• Participate in reviewing environment setup processes and scripts to identify potential quality issues.
• Contribute to continuous process improvements in QA and middleware deployment practices.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint reviews and defect triage meetings.
