Senior / Project Designer EAP
to join our engineering team, based in Singapore, Malaysia, Manila, or Mumbai, working on projects across Asia Pacific. The role involves providing formwork design and calculation support for civil infrastructure projects in the region. If you are passionate, driven, and eager to grow professionally, this could be your next opportunity. Reporting to the Head of Engineering EAP, the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in formwork design, be capable of managing design planning independently, and support sales during proposals and pitches. The position is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You will be responsible for : Maintaining contact with customers and sales teams to provide problem-solving and discussion support Collaborating with sales to produce AutoCAD drawings and Revit formwork models using Doka systems during project proposals Ensuring drawings and solutions demonstrate proper use of Doka equipment, focusing on safety, economy, and efficiency Performing static analysis and preparing specifications for deliveries Providing material lists for quotations and shipments Participating in staff training programs to enhance skills in calculations, formwork, and software applications Supporting sales by determining suitable formwork solutions that meet customer needs and comply with safety and regulatory standards Designing work with available inventory and contractual obligations in mind Adhering to policies, procedures, and performance standards Minimum requirements include : A degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent At least three years of international formwork experience in civil construction, including bridges, tunnels, pylons, and high-rise buildings Knowledge of Doka Formwork Systems is advantageous Proficiency in AutoCAD Experience with BIM models in Revit and Inventor is a plus Strong analytical and technical skills Excellent English communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects within deadlines and budgets Teamwork skills for collaboration on major projects
