Tenby Tropicana Aman Opening in 2018, TTA is on a purpose-built campus located in an attractive green setting in a suburban area of Tropicana Aman, just outside of Kuala Lumpur. We are looking for someone who : Upholds the School’s Vision, Mission and Core Values. Has full responsibility for English Language teaching and assimilation into the mainstream curriculum for EAL students having little or no English language skills Equips EAL students with the necessary English vocabulary, oral and writing skills Works closely with parents, class and subject teachers to continuously support the English needs of EAL students Successfully writes and implements EAL Teaching and Improvement / Development Plans Analyses assessment data to measure EAL students’ progress Possesses a growth mindset and embraces change Possesses excellent knowledge and experience of assessment and tracking to inform student progress, including the use of standardised tests Delivers INSET / training to staff as part of the CPD programme Assists the School with developing greater ‘impact on learning’ practices Has sound knowledge and practice of the National Curriculum for England, curriculum development and current educational thinking Is an excellent practitioner Is a self-starter Is a team player Possesses excellent time management, communication and people skills Contributes to the wider School Community Line management
