Job Responsibilities :
Cost Management & Budgeting
Assist in preparation of project cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure costs remain within approved budget.
Measurement & Valuation
Carry out site measurement and prepare progress claims.
Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BQ), taking-off quantities, and re-measurement works.Evaluate subcontractor claims, variations, and final accounts.Contract Administration
Assist in contract documentation, tendering, and procurement of subcontractors / suppliers.
Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.Prepare variation orders and handle contractual correspondence.Progress & Reporting
Monitor project progress and provide financial updates to management.
Prepare monthly valuation reports, cost reports, and other QS-related documentation.Support project team in identifying potential cost savings and risk management.Liaison & Coordination
Work closely with engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve measurement and contract issues.
Attend site meetings and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.Job Requirements :
Candidate must possess a Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in roadworks / highway / infrastructure projects.Knowledge of contract administration (e.g., PAM, JKR, or FIDIC forms of contract).Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and QS-related software.Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.Able to work independently and under pressure at project site.
