Customer Engineer specializing in Microsoft Teams . The ideal candidate will help customers empower their employees, maximize productivity, and ensure the seamless operation of Microsoft Teams voice and collaboration solutions. This is a
customer-facing role
requiring excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to engage with both technical and business stakeholders, including leadership contacts at customers. Salary budget :

Work directly with customers to understand their Microsoft Teams requirements and provide expert guidance and support. Deliver technical solutions to address customer issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of Microsoft Teams. Assist in the deployment, configuration, and customization of Microsoft Teams and related applications. Conduct technical workshops, training sessions, and webinars on Teams best practices and new features. Document technical solutions, best practices, and troubleshooting steps to build internal and customer knowledge base. Diagnose and resolve issues related to Microsoft Teams clients, meetings, calls, integrations, and Teams Voice. Design and implement Teams Telephony solutions, including Direct Routing, Calling Plans, Phone System, Voice Apps, and Teams Room Systems. Support migrations from Skype for Business to Microsoft Teams, including voice workloads and meeting room solutions. Troubleshoot Teams calling, conferencing, call quality, and media optimization issues. Integrate Teams with Microsoft 365 workloads (SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Platform, Exchange, Azure AD, Intune, etc.). Support application integrations and third-party tools that enhance Teams capabilities. Required Experience & Skills
5+ years’ experience in customer-facing IT roles (systems architecture, administration, operations, software support, or consulting), with focus on Microsoft Teams or collaboration platforms. BA / BS in Information Technology, or equivalent experience. Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Teams architecture, features, and functionalities. Advanced engineering / architectural knowledge of Unified Communications (Teams Voice, PSTN, Direct Routing, Session Border Controllers, Contact Centers). Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite (SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange). Hands-on Teams administration (user management, policies, compliance). Familiarity with scripting / automation (PowerShell, Microsoft Graph). Strong troubleshooting skills in Teams Voice, Skype for Business, and telephony integrations. Knowledge of voice / network protocols, standards, and best practices. Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer engagement skills. Optional Skills
Advanced knowledge of Contact Center and application integration with Teams. Advanced networking (DNS, firewall, load balancing). Experience with Azure Functions development. Microsoft Certified : Teams Administrator Associate
(preferred). Microsoft 365 Certified : Endpoint Administrator Associate
