Job purpose
To support and maintain the company’s daily IT operations across company. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of IT systems and infrastructure. The IT Executive will be responsible for system monitoring, network administration, technical troubleshooting, and end-user support, ensuring a secure and seamless technology environment that enables smooth business operations.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or ITIL will be an added advantage.
Experience
Monitor and maintain IT systems, servers, and network devices to ensure optimal performance and availability.Execute regular data backup activities and perform recovery testing to ensure business continuity.Update, track, and manage IT asset inventory including computers, servers, printers, and related peripherals.Set up and configure hardware, software, email, and user accounts for new joiners.Support the development and upkeep of IT documentation, including ISO compliance and data security requirements.Deliver prompt on-site and remote support for hardware, software, and network issues in HQ Office, branch and project locations when necessary to ensure smooth operations.Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for system maintenance, repair, and upgrades.Conduct preventive maintenance on IT systems and network equipment to reduce downtime and enhance efficiency.Conduct IT orientation for new joiners, introducing company IT policies, security guidelines, and best practices.Provide IT training and user guidance to employees when required to enhance digital literacy and system usage.Lead initiatives to identify, evaluate, and implement technological solutions that enhance business efficiency and productivity.Champion and promote the adoption of technology-driven tools and practices across all departments.Conduct annual reviews and assessments of IT systems and infrastructure, reporting findings, risks, and improvement recommendations to management.Ensure adherence to IT policies, cybersecurity requirements, and best practices.Requirements & Skills
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and system administration.Proficiency in MS Windows environments, Office 365, and common business software applications.Experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.Familiarity with cybersecurity practices, data protection, and IT policy compliance.Detail-oriented with strong technical and analytical problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet operational deadlines.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective user support.High level of professionalism, integrity, and responsibility in handling confidential data and system access.#J-18808-Ljbffr
