ERP Functional Consultant (Product)
Overview
People Profilers is hiring on behalf of a leading global consulting firm for an experienced ERP Functional Consultant (Product), based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Responsibilities
- Serves as the workstream's Subject Matter Expert (SME) and encourages the application of best practices.
- Determines gaps in existing processes, establishes new ones, and guarantees regional process uniformity.
- Offers creative technological and business ideas to increase operational efficacy.
- Assists in the timely completion of assigned work packages within the workstream and reports progress to the regional deployment lead. This includes, but is not limited to :
- Documentation and design of business processes
- User needs specification
- Position papers and assessment and comparison of potential solutions
- Presentation in an ad hoc committee or business community workshop
- Development, documentation, and execution of test cases
- Creation, documentation, and implementation of training
- Definition and creation of transition plans
- Adheres to the fundamental project design guidelines established for the workstream; controls scope within designated work packages and prioritizes needs that maximize organizational value (Fit-For-Purpose); actively promotes the use of standard functionality in best practice process adoption
- Maintains the highest caliber of work products and deliverables in accordance with the project's standard tools and documentation
- Targets breakthrough innovations and challenges the status quo
- Engages in the entire process of implementing technology; develops and maintains a solid understanding of industry trends and best practices (systems, processes, etc.)
- Notifies the work-stream lead promptly if there are delays or issues while tasks are being completed
- Determine and record problems, carry out impact analyses, and offer suggestions for solutions
- Maintain Global ASPIRE Function Support Lead in communicating with business and user communities, stakeholders, and change management efforts; cooperate with BPO, BPMs, SMEs, IT, and other partners within and across workstreams and functional areas
- Collaborates with the client to guarantee project delivery, handover, and appropriate project closure
- Raise process and project problems with management
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or its equivalent), preferably in computer science, information technology, or computer engineeringPreferably ERP certification (such as SAP S / 4HANA)At least seven years of full-cycle ERP implementation and support project management expertise, including end-user training design, development, delivery, and managementPreferred expertise in the pharmaceutical business; a minimum of seven years of experience creating and implementing SAP Finance modules, particularly in the manufacturing finance area, and understanding of important integration with other SAP modulesSAP functional skills (process and system)Ability to work in a matrix environment; strong presentation and communication skills; professionalism and self-motivationAbility to work independently; initiative; willingness to take on responsibility and pick things up quickly on the job; strong analytical skills with experience solving complex problemsAbility to work under pressure and manage competing priorities and deadlinesAbility to deal with ambiguity; results-oriented mindset; can-do attitude; flexibility; resourcefulness; and strong customer focusPlease send your updated CV to if the role is relevant to your experienceDue to volume of applications, we regret only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
