Join Our Team of Passionate Music Tutors!

88 Keys Academy is a non-physical music academy . We do not operate from a fixed centre – instead, our teachers travel to students’ homes or conduct lessons online. We believe in making music learning flexible, convenient, and inspiring! We are looking to expand our academy, with teachers who are tech-savvy and flexi!

Role Description

  • Teach music lessons at students’ homes or / and online (Zoom / Google Meet).
  • Prepare lessons according to students’ level and progress.
  • Encourage students towards practice, performance, recitals, competitions and exams.
  • Maintain professionalism in communication with parents and academy.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge in Music Theory and Music Education
  • Skills in Music Performance and Piano instruction
  • Proficiency in general music teaching
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to different teaching environments
  • Prior teaching experience or relevant certification is a plus
  • Ability to teach one or more instruments (with certification preferred).
  • Passionate about teaching children and adults.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed.
  • Basic tech skills (for online teaching).
  • Fresh graduates or Music Students are acceptable
  • Own transport (for home‑based lessons).
  • Flexible schedule – opt for classes that fit your availability / location.
  • Competitive pay per lesson, up to 65% (Appx min RM200 / student / monthly)
  • Graded Fee up to RM80 / session / student
  • Admin support provided (scheduling, concerts, competitions, exams, certificates, etc.).
