Videography / Video Content Creator with responsibilities spanning videography and photography, development and execution of shoots, and editing social media assets for multiple platforms.
Responsibilities
- Handling videography. Ability to also do photography is a plus.
- Develop, design, plan and execute shoots and productions and edit social media assets for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and other emerging social media channels.
- Responsible for creative production to include short video formats as well as static image content.
- Use rough sketches for planning and scheduling video production.
- Convert static visual to multiple resolution video formats.
- Hold regular meetings with the team to discuss characters, products and scenes.
- Brainstorm with the team on creative concepts and bring that vision to reality.
- Provide guidance on characterization and movements in each scene, plan framing and composition, and operate camera movement.
- Create a rough cut (assembly edit) and determine the next steps, reorder and tweak content for logical sequencing and smooth running.
- Video production and editing including selecting and proposing music, sound effects, graphics or special effects to enhance the video.
- Ideate and conceptualize social media video content for various campaigns.
- Ability to multitask and work on several projects simultaneously.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Film Production, Mass Communication, Multimedia, Graphic Design, or a related field.Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on experience in videography, video editing, and content production (photography experience is an added advantage).Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) is an advantage.Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) and current content trends.Creative thinker with the ability to ideate, plan, and execute video shoots independently or as part of a team.Good storytelling, visualization, and camera composition skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Detail-oriented with a strong sense of visual aesthetics.Willing to work flexible hours and travel for shoots when required.Seniority level
