Senior Technician, Business Improvement

JOB PURPOSE

Assist to perform formulation trials for new source evaluation, product quality and process improvement projects, execution of analytical testing for BI samples and BI laboratory management.
To perform analytical testing, data processing and reporting related to BI projects and analytical improvement projects.
To ensure upkeeping of BI formulation and analytical laboratory.
Responsible in maintaining laboratory, overseeing and ensure Good Laboratory Practices in place.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Conduct any physical and chemical tests as required for the raw materials, in-process and finished samples of any trials.

Responsible for data processing, analytical worksheet preparation and accurate results reporting for physical, chemical and analytical testing.

Perform cleaning of equipment / machine parts and to ensure safe keeping of the parts and BI formulation laboratory / storage areas.

Perform routine calibration / verification of analytical equipment as required.

Perform housekeeping, disposal of wastes and maintaining the cleanliness of BI formulation laboratory and storage areas.

Perform systematic technical documentation filing to ensure traceability and ease of retrieval.

To adhere to GMP / GLP requirements and standard operating procedures at all time and to follow safety procedures at the work place.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Diploma / Degree in science related discipline.

At least 3 years working experience in pharmaceutical industry. Laboratory testing or production support experience is an advantage.

Knowledge of laboratory test and equipment.

Good understanding of GLP and GMP.

Knowledge in GMP and formulation / process & equipment operation / analytical testing within the scopes of Business Improvement departmental activities.

Ability to strategize and execute in timely manner with quality deliverables

and meeting project objectives.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
