Overview

Plan and coordinate tours with teams to work pre-arranged and maintain a consistent schedule for festivals, agencies, school holidays, and other public holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance, distribution, and inventory control of outreach materials including stocks, promotional items, gifts merchandise, and public relation materials.
  • Oversee complete routine inventory reports and ensure stock levels are adequate based on projected and historic usage; manage immediate requirements and track usage to submit timely reorders and maintain restock timelines.
  • Provide daily reporting of event activities via email, website and blog; deliver reliable activity updates to the Superior.
  • Train and keep teams informed through periodic briefings and updates on daily activities during the tour.
  • Receive and process incoming orders from customers;
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers;
  • Maintain the quality and inspection of goods received from the warehouse with proper handling and storage;
  • Assist and arrange goods tidily and creatively in the shop; ensure the shop is kept clean at all times;
  • Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and propose solutions;
  • Attend to and follow up on local and overseas customer inquiries;
  • Ensure services are provided to customers and handle their complaints promptly;
  • Undertake any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Fresh graduates from diploma or related field such as Tourism & Hospitality who are interested in starting their career.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in tour coordination within retail operations.
  • Excellent in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage for communicating with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle people and situations fairly, using sound judgment and integrity.
  • Strong administrative abilities with good organization, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
