About the role
This is a full-time role as a Purchasing Cum Audit officer based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. You will be responsible for managing the purchasing and audit functions to support the overall operations of the company.
What you'll be doing
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.
- Conduct regular audits of purchasing records, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
- Analyse purchasing data and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to purchasing operations.
What we're looking for
A minimum of 1 year experience in a purchasing or auditing role, preferably in the retail or manufacturing industry.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with suppliers and operation staff.Detailed-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies.
