Mission

Job Duties

• Support month-end closing and ensure reports are submitted within the stipulated timeline;
• Perform day-to-day accounting transactions including accounting of AP, AR & posting of journal entries.
• Prepare monthly / year-end schedules & accounts reconciliation.
• Provide support on the analysis of all financial numbers to facilitate decision-making process;
• Support in processing of payments & assist in verifying staff claims;
• Support in initiating tax planning and periodic tax filings;
• Liaise with auditors for year-end financial audit.
• Support in preparation of financial statements and tax computation.
• Help the logistics team to ensure the reliability of forecasts (Activity, expenses, Investment planning).
• Together with the logistics management team, create a list of operational KPIs to keep track of logistics performance.
• Assist the financial controller in preparation of 12-month rolling piloting and 5-year trajectory planned to facilitate the budgeting process and evaluate current performance.
• Support and ensure that the Profit and Loss accounts accurately reflect monthly income and expenses, and comply with the company’s standards and local standards (Malaysian GAAP).
• Ensure the completeness, existence, and accuracy of fixed assets and inventories with the help of logistics operations managers.
• Ensure documents are well archived and available upon request (Corporate and Statutory information, Contracts and agreements with suppliers, etc.).
• Perform other ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned.
