Introduction

On behalf of our client, a world-renowned pioneer in the development and manufacturing of cutting-edge battery technologies, we are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Project Manager - Facilities & Utilities for their new state-of-the-art manufacturing campus in Serendah, Rawang.

This is a pivotal leadership appointment, critical to the successful launch and sustained operation of one of the most significant manufacturing investments in the region. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with proven expertise in industrial facilities management and an exceptional ability to navigate complex, multicultural environments.

The Role : Your Mission

The appointed candidate will hold full accountability for the entire spectrum of facilities and utilities management across the new manufacturing campus. This encompasses strategic planning, operational excellence, and team leadership to ensure world-class reliability, safety, and efficiency of all site infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrated Facilities Management : Provide end-to-end oversight and management of the Green Smart Campus, including all property infrastructure, critical utilities, and facility systems. Assume full responsibility for the operational performance and maintenance of all equipment within the Facilities Engineering (FE) domain.
• Engineering & Safety Leadership : Spearhead all facilities-related engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. Champion a proactive safety culture and ensure strict adherence to all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations.
• Systems Development & Compliance : Establish, implement, and continuously refine comprehensive management systems for Property, Facilities, and Engineering. Develop robust procedures for maintenance, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Talent Development & Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and motivate the on-site facilities team to achieve peak performance. Foster a collaborative, high-performance, and continuous improvement culture. This role requires exceptional skill in managing a diverse team comprising both local Malaysian and expatriate professionals.
• Stakeholder Engagement : Serve as the primary liaison for all facilities matters, reporting to senior client management and regional FE leadership. Execute directives and projects as assigned by the client's regional management team.
• Ancillary Site Management : Extend facilities management oversight to include the associated staff living quarters, ensuring a secure, well-maintained, and high-quality living environment.
