  • Perform audit assignments for clients ranging from various industries.
  • Keep updated on changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends, and ensure compliance with relevant requirements.
  • Communicate professionally within the team and with external parties to gather information, resolve problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements.
  • Travel to different states within and outside Malaysia for audit engagements.
  • Collaborate with audit partners and managers to resolve technical accounting and auditing issues as they arise.
  • Lead and manage a team of Audit Associates.
  • Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and other documentation prepared by team members for accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform ad‑hoc duties (financial due diligence, initial public offerings corporate exercise, etc.) as necessary.

Requirements We Seek

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor’s Degree / Post‑Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Finance / Accountancy / Banking.
  • Must be a member of ACCA / MIA / MICPA / ICAEW or equivalent.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a professional accounting practice.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced with CCH / Inflo System.
  • Audit experience in well‑established professional services firms is a strong preference.
  • Required language proficiency : Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin. Proficiency in Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients.
