Intrepretor, Training - Production (Mandarin translator) based in Ipoh
Overview
- Translate spoken communication from one language to another during meetings, interviews, or events
- Accurately convey meaning, tone, and intent of the original speaker
- Provide sight translations of written documents when needed
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality in all interactions
- Use reference materials and consult subject matter experts for technical accuracy
- Adapt translations to cultural nuances and idiomatic expressions
- Record and report daily activities and interactions as required
- Maintenance and certification of training materials and test papers
- Ensure that the training materials are synchronized with the actual operation, by process
- Support trainers with materials, tools, and administrative tasks
Education & Experience
Diploma or equivalent; higher education may be required for specialized roles, preferred Bachelor’s degree. Preferably in Training, IT, Engineering, Manufacturing or CommunicationsProficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) – mandatoryStrong listening, memory, and note-taking skillsExcellent verbal communication and interpersonal abilitiesCultural sensitivity and awarenessMinimum 2-3 years of working experience as interpreter in Training, semiconductor manufacturing or HR support rolesPreferably with direct involvement in people’s development (manufacturing specialist training and certification) or in similar settingsSkills & Other Requirements
Have experience on videographicAble to lead manufacturing training activities / labor competition independentlyAble to collaborate, negotiate and influence other functions (Production, Engineering, IT, HR, Finance, etc.) for training materials, training systems, trainer and manufacturing specialists’ certification / recertification process improvementsExcellent presentation, facilitation, communication and interpersonal skillsNote : Be careful - Don’t provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
