Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues in a fair and consistent manner.
- Handle disciplinary actions, domestic inquiries, and misconduct investigations.
- Support in drafting and issuing warning letters, show cause letters, and termination letters where necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of all IR / ER cases and disciplinary actions.
- Provide advisory support to management and employees on labor law compliance and company policies.
- Liaise with relevant government bodies (e.g., JTK, IR Department, Industrial Court) when required.
- Conduct counseling sessions and provide support in conflict resolution between employees or departments.
- Monitor absenteeism, tardiness, and other workplace misconduct.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to enhance IR / ER practices.
- Stay updated on changes in labor laws and advise management accordingly.
- Support employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive work culture.
Job Requirements
Education : Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Law, or any related field.Experience : Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in Industrial Relations / Employee Relations.Knowledge :
Strong understanding of Malaysian Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act, and related labor laws.
Familiar with domestic inquiry procedures and legal compliance in HR practices.Skills :
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.Good report writing and documentation skills.
