Job Title : Data Scientist

Location : Kuala Lumpur / Remote / Hybrid

Key Accountabilities

As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in developing and deploying advanced machine learning and AI solutions on Google Cloud's ecosystem. You will :

Prepare, clean, and transform raw data for analytical models.

Support the design, development, and deployment of ML models using Vertex AI and Gemini .

Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and create visualizations to generate actionable insights.

Work on experimentation and model training for projects such as :

Generative AI assistants & text summarization

Lookalike audience models for targeting

Content recommendation engines

Natural language driven chatbots

Collaborate with data engineers and product managers to transition prototypes into production environments.

Monitor and evaluate model performance, iterating based on results and feedback.

Stay up-to-date with new tools and frameworks within the Google Cloud ecosystem .

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

3 5 years of experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning roles.

Proficiency in : Python and SQL

Data manipulation libraries ( Pandas, NumPy )

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services ( Vertex AI, BigQuery, Gemini )

Strong grasp of ML algorithms : classification, clustering, regression, recommendation, NLP .

Hands-on experience with cloud-based ML / AI platforms (Vertex AI preferred).

Knowledge of Generative AI and LLM-based applications is a strong advantage.

Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field .

Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail .

Self-starter who can work independently in a lean team environment.

Excellent communication skills , with the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment .
