We are looking for a Lower and Middle Secondary Teacher who has the heart and motivation to serve the underprivileged community through the work at Dignity for Children Foundation. You will be teaching in a non-profit school environment and working closely with students, parents, and fellow educators to create a holistic and nurturing learning experience.
The teacher is expected to be a positive mentor to youth and responsible for delivering holistic lessons that support both academic and personal development. The teacher role is expected to communicate with parents of their students in terms of education as well as the occasional welfare matters, while creating and maintaining a safe learning space for their class.

Key Responsibilities
Be a mentor to youth and participate as a positive role model to build and nurture character in underprivileged youthWell versed with IGCSE ICT education syllabusPerform pastoral duties including student support, counselling students with academic development and providing student encouragementParticipate in education camps and workshops conducted to build characterManage students’ behavior and apply appropriate and effective behavior measuresPlan, prepare and deliver interactive lesson plans to all students effectively (including online classes as needed)Participate in the development, administration, and marking of exam papers and other assessmentsMonitor, evaluate, record and report on the academic progress, development, and behavior of one’s students and creating reports to inform parents about their progress.Participate actively in school activities and program which includes Dignity eventsAttend professional development courses and workshops organized by DignityPerforms other duties as assigned by the appropriate administratorEducation / Skills Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related fieldTeaching certifications and experience in teaching or leadership will be advantageousHas some experience in program development, curriculum writing and research skillsPossesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create productive and healthy relationshipsAbility to collaborate and work with teamsAbility to work independentlyTechnical Competency Requirements :
Knowledge and familiarity in usage of Google Classroom is requiredComputer competency, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointPhysical Requirements / Work Environment :
