Objectives of the Position
- Responsible for execution of collection activities for assigned customer / country portfolio following global and regional guidelines, policies and procedures
- Ensure deliveries meet requirements defined in service level agreements and KPIs / targets for process efficiency, effectiveness and quality control
- Collaborate with CS stakeholders and global counterparts to ensure smooth processes
Main Areas Of Responsibilities And Key Activities
Functional Tasks (including but not limited to)
Manage daily overdue worklist by performing collection calls / mails and document customer contacts results for assigned country / customer portfoliosIdentify disputes and provide solutions through close collaboration with Accounts Receivables, Credit Risk managers and sales or customer service organizations of business unitsSupport Credit Risk Management teams concerning individual / ad hoc requests in the area of active reminding activities, collection strategy, order block management and othersWork closely with Senior Analyst, Assistant Manager and Manager in daily operations to achieve defined objectives and targetsDiscuss follow-up measures with team-internal and related counterparties based on regular reporting of active reminding activities for first level of escalationParticipate in training activities to continuously improve and enhance knowledge, technical and communication skillsCompliance
Participate in any compliance audits and respond to audit queries (for both internal and external)Ensure all work documentation and processes are updated and aligned with BASF policies & guidelines, local policies, legal and statutory requirementsQuality And Continuous Improvement
Identify, recommend, and implement continuous improvement opportunities in quality and efficiency to support smooth implementationPrepare training materials and conduct end-user trainings when requiredSupport new and existing team members through proper knowledge transfer; share best practices to maintain quality during staff transitionsOthers
Support Business Continuity Plan (BCP) through resource planning, backup and communicationAny other tasks due to Service Hub KL management strategy or changing business environment may require to be performedAdditionally, For Associate Analyst
Act as country cluster coordinator for certain countries on collection-related activities and act as the first level of escalationAct as Area of Competency (AOC) member or topic owner for Collection Services processesSupport internal, regional and global projects as requiredEducation And Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Finance / Accounting or related disciplines or professional qualification in Finance (e.g., ACCA, CPA, etc.)Working Experience & Skills
Fresh graduate with Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accounting or related disciplinesDiploma with minimum 1-2 years of working experienceExternal experience in a shared service or BPO engagement is an added advantageGood interpersonal and communication skillsGood time management, organizational, and multi-tasking abilitiesAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and to meet tight deadlinesTechnical & Professional Knowledge
