Penerangan pekerjaanUndertake internal or external client projects in the areas of data analysis and financial and credit analytics to communicate findings and develop recommendations. Perform industry, business, financial assessment and credit rating for the assigned cases / entities under your purview. Provide support for analytics solutions, tools or software applications, assisting where necessary in solution development, implementation, customer and stakeholder support, issues resolution and identifying areas for improvement. Undertake data extraction, preparation and analysis for assignments using appropriate tools and techniques. Prepare credit and analytical reports including documentation, supporting materials and presentations. Develop, enhance or refine rating methodologies and analytical frameworks. Conduct research for assignments and subject matters of interest as required. Participate or present in internal and external meetings to discuss, explain, provide insights and contribute on case assignments, reports and other analytical tasks. Maintain orderly files and documentation of assignments’ data, analytical output, minutes, deliverables, communications and administrative matters. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Statistics or a related discipline. Excellent command of Microsoft Excel with proficiency in VBA for automation and tooling. Command of analytical tools and software such as Python and R is preferred. Good written and verbal communication skills. Candidates with 2 – 3 years’ experience in financial modelling, credit analysis and data analytics are encouraged to apply.
We seek an Analyst for the Data Analytics division of RAM Rating Services Berhad, Malaysia’s leading and premier Credit Rating Agency.
The work we do includes :
- Development, maintenance, calibration of credit models of various portfolio types
- Review and validation of credit models
- Firm-level credit assessment and performance analytics across segments
- Probability of default (PD) and IFRS 9 expected credit loss analytics
- Customised solutions and advisory for credit and portfolio management
As Analyst, you will play an important part in project execution and delivery, quantitative analysis and preparing documentation, reports or presentations to communicate findings and recommendations. You will also be responsible for operational client collaboration and helpdesk support.
