Role Description
This full‑time role is based in Kuala Lumpur and will support all marketing efforts at Gophee, including shooting and editing short‑form videos, creating social media content, managing posting schedules, assisting with paid ads, and improving SEO to grow traffic and bookings. You will work closely with the BD team, visit partners to capture content, analyse performance data, and help run campaigns that build brand awareness and platform growth. This position is hands‑on, creative, and ideal for someone who enjoys content creation, digital marketing, and working in a fast‑moving startup environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Shoot and edit short‑form videos (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) at partner locations
- Create photos, captions, and marketing content for social media
- Plan and manage posting schedules across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other platforms
- Assist in setting up and managing paid ads on Meta, TikTok, and Google
- Monitor and optimise ad performance for reach, traffic, and conversions
- Conduct basic keyword research and support SEO optimisation for the website
- Update landing pages, listings, and copywriting to improve search ranking
- Support marketing campaigns, partnerships, events, and influencer collaborations
- Assist in writing blog posts, newsletters, and marketing emails
- Track key marketing metrics and prepare simple performance reports
Qualifications
1 to 3 years of experience in marketing, content creation, or digital mediaStrong skills in video shooting and editing (mobile or camera)Able to speak Chinese to communicate effectively with Chinese‑speaking customers, partners and hostsFamiliar with creating short‑form content for Instagram, TikTok, and other social platformsBasic to intermediate experience in SEO, including keyword research and on‑page optimisationUnderstanding of digital advertising platforms such as Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, or Google AdsStrong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAble to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environmentCreative, proactive, and comfortable visiting partners for content shootsCompensation and Benefits
