Site QS (Interior Fit Out Work)

Overview

• To prepare and submit pre-qualifications, tender bids and quotations.
• To review, evaluate and make recommendations on tenders and quotations submitted by the subcontractors and suppliers.
• To ensure that all works carried out by subcontractors are in accordance with the requirements of the main contract and subcontracts.
• To monitor amendments and changes to the scope of work and conditions of contract, variation orders and extension of time.
• To prepare and submit progress claims and final accounts to client.
• To evaluate and review progress claims and final accounts from subcontractors.
• To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the QESH management system.
• To provide and demonstrate the leadership and commitment for the overall implementation of the QESH management system in the department.
• To take accountability for the effectiveness of the QESH management system in the department.
• To promote use of process approach, risk-based thinking and life cycle perspective in the department.
• To communicate the importance of effective QESH management system and conforming to the QESH management system requirements in the department.
• To ensure that the QESH management system achieves its intended results.
• To promote customer focus and improvement in the department.
• To meet client and applicable legal and other requirements.
• To determine risks, opportunities and plan actions and ensure they are implemented.
• To ensure the integrity of QESH management system is maintained at all times even when changes are made.
• To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.
