Responsibilities
The QHSSE Advisor is responsible for overseeing and implementing quality, health, safety, security, and environmental standards at the empty container depot. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, fostering a safe and efficient working environment. Conduct regular inspections, provide training, and develop policies to maintain high standards of safety and environmental protection. Be the preferential interlocutor for the QSSE TI Division Report QSSE events when occurring and main data about QSSE performances, feedback and other initiatives on a regular basis to the QSSE TI Division. Investigate and analyses incidents and near misses that occurred in the site. Implement a systematic proactive risk assessment approach. Ensure implementation of the QSSE TI Guidelines within the site. Develop and maintain a QSSE Management System based on ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISPS standards when relevant. Ensure that reports on the QSSE Management System performance are presented to the management for review Inform management at all levels and QSSE TI Division on relevant QSSE matters Verify and monitor all QSSE aspects within each activity of the site Promote the QSSE culture within the site Ensure planification and implementation of QSSE trainings and drills for employees Oversee the Legal and other Requirements (L&R) monitoring within the site Participate in regular meetings with the HSE Committee (when existing). Ensure that the committee’s objectives are clearly defined and strive to maintain them during the meeting proceedings. Record, distribute and archive the minute of committee meetings. Develop procedures to address efficiently emergency situations Ensure that external workers (outsourced manpower, contractors, etc.) are instructed and trained before being granted to work in the site Define and analyze KPI. Qualifications
Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in HSE management orequivalent Attended OSH-C / SSS / SHO courses will be an added advantage. 3 - 4 years of working experience with similar roles and responsibilities Technical skills : Mastery of safety and environmental regulations and legislation Use of cause analysis tools (Ishikawa diagram, fault tree, 5 Whys, etc.) Establish prevention programs to reduce incidents, occupational accidents and diseases Ability to analyze and summarize and ability to manage a team Raise awareness of the approach and compliance with HSE procedures among teams Knowledge of the maritime environment is an advantage Good command of Microsoft Office Experience in the use of reporting software Proficient in English (understanding, writing, speaking) Sense of contact, communication, pedagogy Sense of initiative, strength of proposal Vigilance and reactivity, ability to adapt Be careful - Don’t provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
