Senior Logistics Operation Executive

Location : Mid Valley (Abdullah Hukum LRT), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Logistics Operation Executive with more than 3 years of working experience in the logistics industry. This role requires someone who can independently handle end-to-end operations (Import & Export) and is capable of guiding and training new team members.

Please do not apply if you do not have working experience in logistics operations from A to Z.

This is not a factory operator role — you will be liaising with clients and partners across the globe, not just within Malaysia or KL.

Employment Type

1-Year Contract (with yearly appraisal & renewal)

Core Responsibilities

Handle full set of Export & Import Operations independently.

Liaise with clients, carriers, co-loaders, shipping lines, trucking, and customs brokers.

Issue and manage HBL, FCR, MBL submissions, release / surrender / telex.

Arrange container stuffing & dispatch, settlement within 5 calendar days post-shipment.

Manage import pre-alerts, manifest submissions, arrival notifications.

Arrange & monitor THC, local charges, invoices, debit notes, and E-DO issuance.

Verify shipping documents (INV, PL, BL) for customs clearance.

Coordinate closely with customers, partners, and internal teams across different regions.

Provide guidance and on-the-job training for new or junior team members.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years' proven working experience in logistics operations (import & export).

Strong knowledge of shipping documentation, customs clearance, and end-to-end logistics flow.

Fluent in English; Mandarin is an added advantage.

Independent, proactive, and responsible with the ability to solve problems on the spot.

Strong communication and coordination skills to handle global stakeholders.

Willing to guide, coach, and support junior staff development.
