We are seeking a Marketing Manager to spearhead brand growth, marketing strategies, and creative campaigns. This role combines strategic leadership and hands-on execution in building Smart Paints' market presence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Develop and refine the overall brand identity, narrative, and positioning in line with Smart Paints' vision and values.
- Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels and platforms.
- Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and consumer insights to strengthen brand relevance.
2. Marketing Planning & Execution
Execute marketing strategies and campaigns as directed by the Directors, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.Manage end-to-end execution of marketing plans across both online and offline channels.Track and report on campaign performance, optimizing initiatives for effectiveness and ROI.3. Collaboration & Partnership Management
Work closely with joint venture partners to plan, coordinate, and execute joint marketing initiatives.Align joint campaigns with Smart Paints' brand standards and objectives.Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, agencies, and stakeholders.4. Content, Communication & Creative Materials
Oversee creation of compelling content for social media, digital platforms, print, and corporate communications.Lead the design and preparation of marketing materials (brochures, catalogues, packaging artwork, posters, videos, displays).Use Adobe software (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and AI-powered design tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly, MidJourney, Canva AI).Ensure messaging reflects Smart Paints' professional, inclusive, and customer-focused identity.5. Corporate & Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, R&D, Operations) to align branding with product offerings.Manage branding initiatives for corporate events, trade shows, and government collaborations.Strengthen brand perception among dealers, contractors, and end consumers.6. Performance & Reporting
Monitor and measure the impact of branding and marketing activities.Provide insights and recommendations to Directors for continuous improvement in brand growth and positioning.Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Design, or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing or brand management, preferably in FMCG, building materials, or coatings / chemical industry.Proven success in marketing strategy, campaign execution, and stakeholder engagement.Proficient in Adobe software (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and familiar with AI design tools.Strong creative eye with the ability to translate ideas into effective marketing materials.Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.Familiar with digital marketing platforms and analytics.Proficient in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
