IT Infra Network Engineer

This approach reduces cost and supports health authorities to allocate capacity constrained human COVID-19 testing where it is most needed.

Job Description

Eurofins is looking for an experienced Network Engineer with a proven track record of troubleshooting and resolving network problems. The key responsibilities are to collaborate with the team to ensure service quality and network efficiency. The Engineer will manage Maintenance, Provisioning, Service Restoration and Data Centre processes and capabilities.

REPORTING LOCATION : Malaysia

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

• Initial Educational background :
• University Degree in Information Technology or comparable field or relevant work experience in Information Technology (min. 6-8 years)
• Specific Skills required in terms of :

English Fluency Required

SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES :

CoC Network (Center of Competency Network) is responsible for maintaining Network Infrastructure services (E.g. : Router / L3 switches, L2 switches, firewalls , Load balancer, access points, proxy, VPN, SDWAN, etc.). Our Team collaborate with other IT internal teams, vendors and according to defined processes (e.g. IT Incident Management and IT Change Management).

The CoC Network Engineer should : 1. Ensure that all IT Services, managed by CoC Network, are delivered effectively to customers / Business. This includes the execution of SOPs and management of IT Incidents, IT Changes and IT Problems in OTRS based on the related processes, procedures and work instructions.

POSITION & OBJECTIVES :

Audit and update Network Diagram for remote sites, Creating Visio Diagrams for existing network and update when there is Changes in the network ;

A deep understanding and contextual experience with :

All Layer 2 protocols, specifically :

Access list;

Load balancer Specifics :

Must be able to work in CET hours (MY time 2pm–11pm)
