Job Description
The Semi Senior Audit position supports audit engagements by assisting in planning, fieldwork, and reporting under the supervision of senior team members. This role requires developing technical audit skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with clients and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting audit fieldwork, including testing financial records and internal controls.
- Prepare and organise audit documentation in accordance with firm policies and professional standards.
- Identify potential issues and escalate them to senior auditors for further review.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and audit reports.
- Work closely with team members to ensure audit tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant accounting standards and auditing procedures.
- Communicate effectively with clients to obtain necessary information and resolve queries.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of audit processes and methodologies.
