Overview
Sunway Medical Centre Velocity is seeking experienced Pharmacists to join our dedicated team in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. As a Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and medication management within our inpatient and outpatient settings. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, purpose-driven healthcare environment and contribute to the overall wellbeing of our patients.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication management
- Dispense and review prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and providing patient counselling on medication usage, side effects and interactions
- Monitor patients\' medication regimens and recommend adjustments as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medication records
- Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
- Supervision of work performed by staff in the service area in accordance with required standards of performance
- Provide educational resources and training to healthcare staff on pharmacy-related topics
