Production Supervisor

Primary job functions :

• Lead and ensure the smooth and safe manufacturing operation during your shift.
• To feedback any malfunction or damage of machine, equipment, structure and building of RHM / HM, and issue concern to the next shift supervisor and production manager RHM / HM.
• Report unsafe act and condition, near miss and quality issues to direct superior and act accordingly.
• Follow all safety and quality policy of the company.
• Ensure his / her shift meets target set in term of output and quality.
• Ensure all workplace designated for RHM / HM always clean & tidy, especially during shift handover & shift take over in accordance with JPS system.
• Perform change over shift meeting with next shift supervisor.
• Prepare shift report, production downtime report and communication logbook for shift changeover.
• Ensure proper usage of PPE and well keep and maintain on each station.
• Responsible to manage shift operation in term of resources.
• In-charged for manpower, raw material, packaging, output & quality.
• Authorize to small stop / resume production with ensuring stable quality product produce.
• Ensuring all safety & IMS policy of the company are always adhered during workshift.
• Comply and practice Jowat's IMS Policy / Guideline.
• Handle scheduled & non-scheduled waste material according to procedure.
• Handle chemical and its disposal or spillages according to procedure.
• Understand on relevant environmental significant aspects and their impact.
• Ensure to comply HSE and organization's compliance obligations.
• Practise recycling in day-to-day job tasks / activities.
• Practise the environmental program on day-to-day tasks / activities.
• Execution & implementation of additional task required by management.
• Support company event, audit and certification program.
• Perform any ad-hoc job given by superior.
