Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL) entries, bank reconciliations, and full sets of accounts.
Lead monthly and yearly closing processes; prepare accurate and timely financial reports such as Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
Ensure full compliance with relevant Malaysia reporting standards, tax regulations (SST, Corporate Tax, custom duty).
Oversee SST implementation, submission, and reconciliation, ensuring compliance and accuracy in tax reporting.
Prepare and submit statutory reports (e.g., SST filings, annual returns) on time.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary banks and relevant government authorities (LHDN, SSM, custom).
Support budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial analysis for manufacturing and project-based operations.
Improve accounting systems and processes (SAP) to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
Collaborate closely with production, procurement, and engineering departments to align financial strategies with operational goals.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, preferably in manufacturing or automation industries.
Proven experience handling full sets of accounts, statutory reporting, and SST implementation and compliance in Malaysia.
Proficiency in SAP (FI / CO modules) and strong skills in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, formulas, macros).
Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to communicate effectively with local and overseas stakeholders.
