Responsibilities

• Maintenance and troubleshooting of automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), including conveyors, cranes, shuttles, and lifts; ensure minimal downtime, safe operation, and continuous material flow.
• Preventive & Predictive Maintenance : Perform scheduled inspections and maintenance on ASRS equipment, conveyors, lifts, shuttles, and control panels; lubricate and clean mechanical components; use CMMS to track and log maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs : Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, or control system failures; troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems, sensors, actuators, and motors; collaborate with OEM support for complex failures.
• System Monitoring & Optimization : Monitor system performance, report anomalies, make real-time adjustments, and conduct root cause analysis on recurring issues.
• Safety & Compliance : Adhere to warehouse safety protocols and lockout / tagout (LOTO) procedures; inspect safety devices such as light curtains, e-stops, and barriers; ensure ASRS operation complies with local safety regulations and internal policies.
• Inventory & Documentation : Maintain records of maintenance work, parts used, and fault logs; assist in managing spare parts inventory for ASRS components; update equipment documentation and electrical schematics when modifications are made.
• Team support & Communication : Work closely with operations to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption; support system upgrades or new installations as needed; train operators on basic troubleshooting and safe use of ASRS systems.
