Overview

We are seeking an experienced and professional Private Driver / Executive Chauffeur to provide safe, punctual, and reliable transportation services. The ideal candidate will be well-versed with routes in Penang, northern Malaysia, and Kuala Lumpur, while ensuring comfort, discretion, and a high standard of service. Responsibilities include maintaining the vehicle in excellent condition, planning efficient routes, assisting with passenger needs, and handling occasional errands with professionalism and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, punctual, and comfortable transportation within Penang, northern Malaysia, and Kuala Lumpur.
  • Plan and adjust routes efficiently using real-time traffic updates and alternative options.
  • Be available for urgent or unscheduled trips during working hours.
  • Assist passengers with doors, luggage, and overall comfort.
  • Perform daily vehicle checks (tires, fuel, oil, brakes, lights).
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness (interior and exterior) and arrange regular servicing or repairs.
  • Comply with all Malaysian traffic regulations and practice defensive driving.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding schedules, activities, and personal matters.
  • Handle errands such as airport transfers, school runs, grocery pickups, and parcel deliveries.

Daily Task Checklist

  • Morning (Before 7 : 30 AM) : Inspect fuel, fluids, and tires; clean the vehicle; stock essentials (water, tissues, chargers); review schedule.
  • During Work Hours (7 : 30 AM – 7 : 30 PM) : Arrive early; select the best routes; maintain professionalism; complete errands; perform quick interior cleaning after trips.
  • End of Day : Refuel if required; park securely; prepare the vehicle for the next day.

    • Weekly & Monthly Duties

  • Weekly : Deep clean the vehicle (interior & exterior), vacuum carpets, polish surfaces, and check safety systems (lights, brakes, wipers, tires).
  • Monthly : Schedule full vehicle servicing (oil change, tire rotation, filter replacement) and ensure insurance, road tax, and compliance are up to date.

    • Requirements

  • Valid Malaysian driving license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a personal driver, chauffeur, or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Penang, northern Malaysia, and Kuala Lumpur routes.
  • Proficiency in navigation apps such as Waze and Google Maps.
  • Excellent driving skills with proven safety and defensive driving practices.
  • Professional appearance, punctual, and well-mannered.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters discreetly.
  • Physically fit and able to assist with luggage handling.
  • Flexible to work overtime, weekends, or evenings when required.
  • Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge (e.g., checking fluids, tires, battery).
  • Non-smoker preferred.
