We are looking for a Rust or C++ Engineer with extensive (HFT) trading systems experience to join our Options Business Unit’s fully remote engineering team, building and improving our low latency options trading system. We are open to candidates from C++ / C backgrounds as well. The role is suitable for candidates in Asian or European time-zones.

Today, we rock with over 200 team members around the world. Our diverse team hails from 42 nationalities, with hubs in London, Brussels and Singapore, and we operate predominantly remote. We trade on more than 80 exchanges and work with a wide array of asset issuers. We are a market maker offering services across market making, options trading, high-frequency trading, OTC, and DeFi trading desks. Our team focuses on Rust backend, TypeScript UI, and Python data components, with a focus on learning and advancing Rust expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Join a small but rapidly growing Options Business Unit’s fully remote engineering team.
  • Build out and improve a low latency options trading system.
  • Own the process from gathering initial requirements through deployment.
  • Balance business requirements with a long-term technical vision in an iterative, pragmatic way.
  • Collaborate within a globally remote async team and participate in regular online and offline team activities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in expert low latency and / or data-heavy (trading) systems or similar.
  • Very strong experience with Rust and / or C / C++.
  • Willingness to become an expert in Rust (if not already).
  • Experience with unit and integration testing, or equivalent functional testing approaches.
  • Options Trading knowledge or a keen interest is essential.
  • Previous experience with exchange connectivity and / or FPGA technologies is valuable.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL databases and protobuf-based protocols, or similar technologies, is essential.
