HR Executive at Cancer Research Malaysia. Scope / Purpose of Job / Responsibilities
The role supports planning, coordinating, and executing events and marketing communications and donor engagement activities, with emphasis on charity events, awareness campaigns, and on-the-ground support to ensure smooth execution. It includes pre-event and post-event communications, creation of event materials, and amplifying event visibility through digital channels. The position also supports broader marketing communications tasks and internal coordination.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing events, especially those under Marketing Communications and Donor Engagement, such as charity runs, awareness campaigns, and on-the-ground support to ensure smooth execution.
- Assist in pre-event and post-event communications, such as preparing event briefs, managing registration, handling feedback surveys, and compiling event reports.
- Support the creation of event promotional materials (e.g., online promotion, banners, signage) and help amplify event visibility through social media, email blasts, and internal networks.
- Provide support for other marketing communications activities including :
- Creative design using Canva or other design tools for digital and print materials
- Content creation and scheduling for CRMY’s social media platforms in collaboration with the agency
- Support to prepare visuals and content for merchandise, digital printing, and online channels
- Support administrative tasks related to marketing operations, including managing inventories, vendor coordination, and internal documentation
- Collaborate with various internal teams to contribute creative input and coordinate resources for ongoing campaigns and initiatives
- Be open to assist on ad hoc tasks or projects as needed
Qualifications / Requirements
Possess a Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Mass Communication, Event Management, or a related fieldAt least 2 years’ experience in a related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to applyStrong interest in event coordination and public-facing campaignsA team player with good communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong sense of responsibilitySkills in Canva, basic video editing, or graphic design are a strong advantageProficient in English (spoken and written)Able to prioritise tasks, work independently, and meet deadlinesTakes initiative and demonstrates a proactive work ethicContract
Type : 6-month contract with potential to convert to full-time, depending on performance and fund availability
