As we extend our footprint into the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, particularly in Malaysia, we are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Relationship Manager to spearhead our efforts and establish GODO as a market leader in the region.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a strategic and proactive Relationship Manager to lead GODO’s business development initiatives across the APAC region, with a primary focus on Malaysia. This is a unique opportunity to shape the company’s growth strategy, build key relationships, and establish GODO as a dominant force in the region.
The ideal candidate will possess :
Deep expertise in financial services and a strong network within the APAC region.
A passion for fintech and trading, with a keen understanding of regional market dynamics.
Fluency in English. proficiency in additional languages is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Client Onboarding : Identify and acquire new institutional and high-net-worth clients, including asset managers, brokers, and corporate entities, within the APAC region.
Market Expansion : Develop and execute strategies to expand the firm’s presence in Malaysia and other key APAC markets.
Sales Target Achievement : Consistently meet or exceed sales targets through proactive client engagement and business development initiatives.
Client Engagement @Retension : Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact & Implement strategies to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty, ensuring high retention rates
Market Insights : Stay informed about market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes affecting the APAC region.
Product Expertise : Possess in-depth knowledge of the firm’s product offerings, including FX, CFDs, and other financial instruments.
Sales Reporting : Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
Strategic Planning : Contribute to the development of business strategies aimed at achieving long-term growth objectives.
Who You Are
A seasoned business development leader with 4+ years of experience in FX, CFDs, or financial services within the APAC region.
Deep understanding of the regulatory landscape and financial markets.
A strong track record in client acquisition, institutional sales, and partnership development.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
English proficiency is highly preferred; multilingual skills are an added advantage.
