We are urgently recruiting for an experienced Corporate M&A Associate / Senior Associate to join the in-house legal team of a dynamic, Singapore-based New Law provider.

This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious Legal Counsel to join a tech-enabled, entrepreneurial team driving transformation in the legal industry. You\'ll play a critical role advising on legal matters, being part of key internal projects, and fostering growth.

Overview

The role is based remotely in Malaysia, with potential for international relocation further down the line.

Responsibilities

Advise on legal matters as part of the in-house legal team.
Be involved in key internal projects and drive growth initiatives.
Collaborate with the founder and CEO to help grow the business to the next level.

Qualifications

At least 4 years post-qualification experience at an international or leading local law firm.

Qualification in Malaysia or another Commonwealth jurisdiction.

Proven experience within either a corporate commercial environment or an M&A environment.

Excellent communication and client-management skills, and the confidence to liaise with senior stakeholders.
