Role Overview

This entry-level role involves managing procurement execution for assigned goods, commodities, and services in accordance with purchasing SOPs and work instructions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for purchasing materials in accordance with guidelines set forth by Plexus management and customer contracts regarding AVL adherence, unit price, quality, and delivery.
  • Make tactical buying decisions concerning placement and management of all purchase orders, including order placement, rescheduling, cancellations, and timely resolution of nonconforming materials, goods discrepancies, and invoice queries.
  • Minimize inventory while maintaining adequate material to meet production plans, initiating corrective actions and escalation to avoid impacting the production schedule.
  • Collaboratively manage established procurement automation processes, optimizing, troubleshooting, and ensuring data integrity within automation systems, and deciding when to leverage automation versus requesting exceptions.

Education & Experience

  • 0–2 years of related experience.
  • Relevant qualifications are an advantage.

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace or MS Office with advanced Excel knowledge.
  • General office equipment and materials familiarity.

    • Physical & Travel Requirements

  • Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level; may require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer and office equipment.
  • Minimum physical activity. Good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangement required.
  • Less than 40% travel.
