Executive, Trade Processing SG

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Executive to join our Trade Processing team at iCIMB (MSC) Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur. In this full-time role, you will be processing trade finance transactions received from CIMB Group & corresponding agents in accordance with the Bank’s TFGPM & Internal Memo with zero defect, within stipulated time as per service level agreement. What you'll be doing

Compliance and Customer Service Ensure same day delivery processing time for Trade Finance products from submission time by TSD until completion of processing. Ensure compliance to Trade Finance Policy, Manual & Guidelines and SLA. Ensure the following are met upon processing of customer’s application : Signature verification of TSD’s officers. Screening application. Conform to ICC publications, Bank’s policies, procedures and guidelines. To perform AML / CFT and Vessel screening and escalate to TSD if required. Updating of Daily Incoming Register. Attend telephone enquiries and reply to swift / mails enquiries when required. Handle TSD Singapore / 3rd party / Loan Owner’s query / complaint promptly. Escalate to TSD via email for any incompliance for the above. Perform document checking under UCP600 / ISBP and Loans compliance checking. Data Processing / Releasing Ensure accurate data entry in Silverlake Trade (SFTF), AMLA and Swift Alliance etc; and related standard letters are accurate. Perform data entry and / or approve / authorize Swift Alliance related transaction. Checking GL entries & related payment instruction are in order. Retrieve / Check matured bill for cancellation / settlement. Housekeeping & filing of documents are timely and easy to retrieve. Assist peers on delivery of other trade products within the department as and when required (multi-tasking). Check and approve alerts in AMLA system (With high-level approval). Administrative Prepare daily / weekly / monthly / SLA Report. Monitor and ensure KPIs are met. Motivate staff / peers (if applicable). Participate & ensure compliance to 4 S initiatives. Timely submission of Reports i.e. SLA, CUR, MAS reports, Month End Report & etc. Handle additional functions, ad hoc assignment or projects related to Trade System or Trade Finance. To perform Testing of System related matters as and when required. Perform data entry for Capacity Utilization Rate (CUR). Monitor Overtime & ensure justification recorded for management’s reporting. Any other responsibilities / tasks as assigned by the Management and as per Business requirement from time to time. What we're looking for

Qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of experience in trade finance or a similar operational role within the banking industry. Knowledge of trade finance products (LC, BG, SBLC, Collections, etc.), document checking, and regulatory requirements. Familiarity with UCP 600, ISBP 821, URR, URC, URDG, ISP 98, SWIFT messaging (MT700, MT103, etc.), AML / Sanctions screening, and payment processing (MX format). System proficiency (e.g., TI Plus, IMEX, SWIFT Alliance) Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word. Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Team player with a proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving. What we offer
