Global Buyer - Ingredients

We are looking for an experienced Global Buyer based in Kuala Lumpur, responsible for supporting Procurement Managers to operationalize their strategy through procurement processes within the Ingredients category.

Reporting directly to the Global Category Leader, your primary responsibility will be to support the implementation of the category strategy on a regional & global level - focusing on the efficient use of strategic sourcing tools and processes in order to maximize compliance and efficiency.

As a strategic partner to the business, we help the company achieve sustainable growth and we ensure responsibly sourced supply and value creation. Located in hubs in Switzerland, Panama and Malaysia, our division provides a range of services, including the management of procurement for specific raw materials, packaging, indirect materials and other services. We also support markets with managing local spend.

A day in a life of a Global Buyer – Ingredients

• Supporting effective contract management for the category
• Preparing for and supporting negotiation events as approved by the category Procurement Managers.
• Contributing to the global sourcing strategy by implementing the communication and supplier management plan.
• Ensuring compliance with Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, policies and standards.
• Identifying opportunities for cost and efficiency optimization, and leading global initiatives to enhance value creation.
