Product Engineering Manager

Our client is a renowned Engine MRO in Malaysia with a production line specializing on the maintenance and overhaul of engine parts.

We are currently looking for a Product Engineering Manager , who will be directly responsible to the Engineering Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day management of a team of engineers.

This position will be based in Malaysia, and relocation will be required.

Job Responsibilities

• Leading the Product Engineering team in developing and managing repair schemes for airfoil components
• Owns the product repair lifecycle from technical development to approval, implementation, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure engineering documentation meets OEM, regulatory and / or customer requirements
• Interface with OEMs and stakeholders to understand evolving requirements, incorporate feedback, and expand in-house capabilities.
• Support internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections from an engineering and product readiness standpoint.
• Support cost-reduction initiatives, product yield improvement, process optimization, and repair development strategy to maintain competitive technical offerings.
