Position
The Finance Manager will lead the Finance Service Centre, overseeing the delivery of financial services to internal stakeholders and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and requirements. Job Description
Operational Leadership
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Finance Service Centre, ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial transactions
- Develop / enhance and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and service delivery
Team Management
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals, foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growthConduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to team membersProcess Improvement
Identify and implement best practices in financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger managementMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive efficiency and enhance service qualityStakeholder Collaboration
Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring their financial service needs are met effectivelyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting and compliance initiativesFinancial Reporting
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis, supporting management decision-makingOversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial deliverablesCompliance and Risk Management
Ensure adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and financial policiesIdentify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard financial integrityRequirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldProfessional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, MICPA or any equivalent) are desirable, but not essentialMinimum 9 years of working experience in finance or accounting, with a proven track record of growing, developing and leading a large teamStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracyExcellent leadership and team management capabilities, including the ability to influence and collaborate effectively to engage and influence stakeholders from diverse backgroundsSolid understanding of financial regulation and compliance requirementsBig 4 accounting firm experience is desirable, but not essentialSeniorities
