Overview
Technical Support Engineer — iSoftStone WP. Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The role requires supporting SRE operations in a shift-based arrangement. The successful candidate will be responsible for system monitoring, troubleshooting, deployment support, and ensuring platform reliability, particularly for big data and internal systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform system administration tasks, including Linux server setup, module installation, and basic configuration.
- Monitor infrastructure health, investigate service / system / network-related issues, and resolve incidents promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document procedures in both English and Mandarin.
- Support CI / CD processes, write automation scripts using Shell or Python, and manage database services.
- Participate in rotating shift duties.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 2 years of relevant experienceProficiency in Linux, basic networking, databases, Kubernetes, and scripting languages (Shell, Python)Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Tencent Cloud, GCP)Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English (written and spoken)Experience with big data platforms is an added advantageDetails
