NPI Engineer

Support the new process and new product introduction and qualification . Continue improvement on the throughput, yield , quality and product performance goals.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Leads the development and implementation of new process or new product introductions (NPI).

Collaborate with global engineering team, Manufacturing team and Quality team to ensure the new process or product meet the design standard and customer requirements.

Collaborate with supply chain teams and purchasing team to sourcing and localizing the product packaging materials.

Collaborate with Tooling & Equipment teams for tooling design and fabrication.

Leads the sample making runs, sample making data collection and perform qualification report.

Develops and executes process validation plans including DOE and capability studies.

Defines process specification, control plans, and qualification strategies from small volume engineering test till high volume manufacturing.

Creates and maintains detailed documentation including work instructions, process flows, and FMEAs.

Leads and conducts engineering change management to ensure all the NPI activity record to the system.

Requirement

Bachelors Degree in a Engineering discipline or Physical Science Field or the equivalent. Preferably : Mechanical, Mechatronics, Materials, Manufacturing Engineering

2-4 years Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment

Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite and statistical software.

Knowledge of ISO 9000 standards, statistical methods and SPC tools.

Robust Engineering / Design of Experiments, Six Sigma, and FMEA

Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes.

Knowledge of Engineering Techniques and Practices.
