What You’ll Build

As a Backend Engineer, you’ll architect the foundations of The Flex : the systems, APIs, and automation layers that coordinate global inventory, sync bookings in real time, and enable properties to operate autonomously.

Your work will blend digital automation with real‑world logistics – enabling thousands of stays to run smoothly without manual intervention.

Your Mission

• Build the Core – Design and scale robust APIs and backend services that manage bookings, payments, availability, and property intelligence.
• Automate the Workflows – Develop serverless functions and microservices that eliminate repetitive tasks and streamline operations across cities and continents.
• Connect the Ecosystem – Implement integrations between Base360.ai and major platforms such as Airbnb, Stripe, Twilio, and Hostaway.
• Engineer for Scale – Architect event‑driven systems and data pipelines capable of handling millions of events and transactions reliably.
• Power Intelligence – Work with AI and data teams to embed smart automation and predictive logic into operational flows.
• Collaborate Closely – Partner with product, front‑end, and operations teams to translate messy real‑world challenges into simple, scalable backend solutions.
