  • About Our Client

    Our client is a leading organization in the Manufacturing industry. As a large organization, they have a global presence with a significant footprint in Asia, and are committed to delivering quality products to their vast consumer base.

    Job Description

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns with the organization's long-term goals and objectives.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with union representatives and shop stewards.
    • Drive a culture of engagement, inclusivity and high performance.
    • Lead the collective bargaining process, negotiate labor agreements and facilitate effective communication between management and union leadership.
    • Develop and implement effective recruitment, retention, and talent development strategies.
    • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures and programs that meet the needs of the organization and its employees.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations related to employee benefits, compensation, and employment practices.
    • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
    • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including grievances and disputes.
    • Drive organizational change initiatives that support the organization's long-term goals and objectives.
    • The Successful Applicant

      A successful Head of HR should have :

    • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment with Union exposure is a must.
    • In-depth knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and best practices.
    • Experience in leading collective bargaining and negotiating labor agreements.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent leadership and management skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to think strategically, anticipate trends, and develop and implement proactive solutions.
    • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies and initiatives.
