Overview
This role is responsible for managing and developing relationships with our key channel partners, driving sales growth and ensuring effective distribution of our products in the market.
Responsibilities
- Implement channel strategies and business plans to achieve sales targets and market share goals and overall business objectives.
- Assist in developing and executing the Trade Promotion / Marketing Plan in line with sales and marketing objectives and managing distributor relationship.
- Build collaborative partnerships with key retail partnerships to win category captaincy.
- Identify category improvement areas via performance reviews and post evaluations with the key account team / retailer periodically.
- Execute trade promotions and roll out impactful in-store campaigns in collaboration with marketing & sales teams. Visit points of sale regularly to ensure that the brand is visible, and guidelines are respected.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, supply chain and product development to ensure alignment and seamless execution of channel initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze sales data, market share, and key performance indicators to track progress, identify gaps and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Coordinate and participate in trade shows, industry events and customer meetings, representing the company and exploring potential partnerships or collaborations.
- Review planograms by channel on a quarterly basis, based on additional shopper insights.
- Provide regular trade visits with market reports to share trade and market insights on the latest competitors’ / shoppers’ trends, opportunities, and challenges to inform marketing strategy and plan.
Qualifications
Qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience : Minimum 3 years of experience in Channel Management / Trade Marketing in the FMCG industry.
Skills / Abilities :
Strong understanding of FMCG distribution channels; analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market insights to drive business decisions; proficient in MS Office.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines; excellent communication and negotiation.Good stakeholder management.#J-18808-Ljbffr
