We are a long- and well-established insurance brokerage group based out of Singapore, dedicated to providing tailored insurance solutions across a broad range of industries. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team.

We now have two new contract positions open for a teammate to join us in our Johor Bahru, Malaysia office in our Motor & Engineering and Property & Casualty department, focusing on growing our individual private, commercial vehicle business and property & casualty lines.

Position : Assistant Manager / Senior Executive / Executive

Location : Johor Bahru, Malaysia

Job Description :

As part of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our senior brokers and contributing to the overall success of our company. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals with at least 1-2 years or more of experience in the insurance industry or a related field. Mid-career candidates looking for a switch are welcome to apply.

Direct experience is not necessary but is viewed favourably. More importantly, we are looking for individuals with strong character, a willingness to learn, and a proactive attitude.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist senior brokers in managing client accounts, placement of insurance while delivering exceptional service.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support the development of insurance solutions.
  • Ensure documentation is issued in a timely manner, and exceed expected turnaround times on client and policy servicing.
  • Liaise with clients, underwriters, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Participate in internal or client meetings where required, contributing to discussions and solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments.

Qualifications :

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in the insurance industry specifically in broking motor vehicle, fleet or a related field.
  • Self-disciplined, motivated and independent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
