Senior Financial Analyst – Manufacturing & Supply Chain
A leading global organisation with a regional Global Business Services (GBS) hub is looking to hire a Financial Analyst / Senior Financial Analyst – Manufacturing & Supply Chain to support its Australia and New Zealand market. This role is critical in partnering with plant operations, supply chain, and senior stakeholders across multiple markets to drive cost efficiency, financial visibility, and operational performance.
You will act as a plant controller , focusing on standard costing, supply chain finance, and business partnering across six manufacturing plants.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a finance business partner to operations, supply chain, and manufacturing teams.
- Lead plant controlling activities : cost analysis, inventory management, and manufacturing variances.
- Perform standard costing reviews, analysis, and updates in SAP.
- Drive insights into product cost and profitability to support strategic decision‑making.
- Support monthly closures , budgeting , and forecasting cycles – particularly for ANZ entities.
- Collaborate with the ANZ team during period closings (may require flexible hours).
- Engage in regional planning for 6+ manufacturing plants across ANZ and SEA.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders, including the Finance Director and APAC leadership.
Requirements
5+ years of relevant finance experience in plant controlling , supply chain finance , or FP&A roles.Proven individual contributor with strong stakeholder management across multiple markets.Prior experience in manufacturing , heavy industries , or matrix organizations preferred.Strong hands‑on experience with standard costing , product costing , and variance analysis.Proficiency in SAP (essential).Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem‑solving mindset.Effective communicator with ability to influence non‑finance stakeholders.Comfortable working independently and owning the relationship with business leaders.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CFA) are an advantage.2–5 years of experience for Analyst role.5–8 years for Senior role, ideally in a regional or multinational environment.Why Join Us
